Christmas Project.

So...my friend Jamie and I are going to adopt a family from our domestic violence shelter for Christmas. By adopt, I mean, buy them all gifts, and food and decorations, etc.

And as I was driving home, I got to thinking about this...and thought I'd throw it out there to anyone who might be interested.

Would any of you like to help?

Right now what I'm thinking is that I will compile a list of things that the family (which consists of the mother and three girls--ages six, eleven and fifteen) needs/wants and if anyone would like to help out, they could either send gifts to me which Jamie and I can wrap, etc, or send cash to help us pick some things out. I'm also open to other suggestions, because I really, really want for this family to have a wonderful Christmas for the first time ever.

Thoughts? Questions? Interest?

Oooh neat. We do this every year too :3 My dad's workplace works with some shelter and everyone interested gets to pick out a family. They usually have a list of things they want ready for us xD

I'd be interested. :) I could send cash, since anything else would probably be too costly/bulky to ship, and I'm lazy. Or a check, since checks are better than cash.
