I do not want to come to work tomorrow.

Why, you ask?

Because tomorrow is April Fool's day and the people around here are known for playing mischevious and some downright MEAN jokes. I have managed to avoid working on April 1 since I started here in 2004, but we have a damn staff meeting tomorrow so I CAN'T miss.

But I will say this:

If anyone on this staff plays some kind of joke on me involving any kind of gross little insect?

They will be very sorry.

Because I am the ONLY person who works here who ISN'T scared of rats, mice and snakes. And frankly, I know where I could get some live ones.

LOL. Well I wrote a warning on my dry erase board that if anyone pulled such a prank, the consequences would involve live snakes and rats. And I'm pretty sure by now they all know I'm not kidding--because snakes and rats do not scare me at all and they're all terrified of them.

We have April Fools around here all the time...everytime our VP goes away on vacation we decorate his office. Here are photos from the last one:

The individual on page 2 is the VP. The photo was taken after he completed a dare.

I work for a direct mail marketing company that works with colleges & universities and those envelopes are leftover mailings that were subsequently recycled. We also had a device that made random beeps. It drove him bonkers for a day!

The time before that we put leftover neon pink and yellow paper all over his office along with pictures from The Office (one of his favorite shows). Before that we filled his office with balloons.

Now you have me wondering what he is going to do to us!

Any kind, really. My coworkers are scared to death of snakes, mice and rats. :) It's good leverage for blackmail!
