New Save Jericho Info!

Okay, there will be more info. soon, but they are telling people at the rally point that we should prepare to start contacting the two following networks about picking up Jericho:

1. Sci-Fi (this actually did strike a lot of us as surprising since we were originally under the impression Sci-Fi had already said no. However, that is not true, and looks to be our most likely canidate)

and

2. The CW. It's affiliated with CBS, and NOTHING it airs pulls in the numbers Jericho has consistently gotten. It beats Smallville by twice the numbers. So it's the other one we're told to get ready to focus on.

I'll have more info. as soon as possible on how to go about this exactly. We need it to be organized, en masse, and hard-hitting!

just saw this post - I really think this is good since CSB has been letting SciFi have the reruns they are obviously supporting the idea of Jericho continuing in some form.

Unlike years ago when i heard that the reason that Scifi never picked up Angel or firefly was because they wouldn't have rights to the reruns.

I think trying to encourage another network to pick it up is a good idea. My only concern is...apparently they are running the "Series Finale" episode tonight which is suppose to end the show, not leave it open to continue. And based on some comments Skeet made in an interview, it sounds like the fans probably aren't going to be happy about what they decided to do. I just hope it doesn't leave everything TOO final to the point where the story CAN'T continue anymore. :(

Fear not. I have a Canadian friend who watched it last night (it airs a day early there) and she said it was NOT final final, and very open to continue. In fact, she went on to say she thought it would make people fight that much harder to get a third season on another network! So I'm being cautiously optimistic. *hugs*
