I have a wide range of interests from psychology/sociology subjects to art to writing to weather and pretty much anything you can think of. After a couple days I'll be post dating this and keeping it at the top of my LJ so random passer-bys can rec things! :) Thanks!

Date: 2007-08-29 09:14 pm (UTC)And it's FREE! Up to 200 books, then just 25 dollars for life. That may go up with time but right now we can get in on the ground floor, so to speak.
It also makes a good resource if you have a fire and need to use insurance money to replace your library--you have an off site list of what you own!

Date: 2007-08-29 08:48 pm (UTC)Another is ANYTHING by Isaac Asimov. I don't mean that as a title, just anything he writes is really great. Especially the short story, Bicentennial Man. I love the movie, but I love the short story better! He also writes this one novel called 'The End of Eternity', but it's fill with techno mumbo jumbo that goes over my head, but it's a good read though.
Anything by Lillian O'Donnell will amaze you, she writes the best cop novels I've ever read.

Date: 2007-08-29 11:18 pm (UTC)Michel Faber - The Crimson Petal and the White, and also, for something completely different, Under the Skin
Shakespeare's Measure for Measure and the various tragicomedies (more interesting than you might think!)
Catherine Jinks - Eye to Eye (plus others)
Michael Cunningham - Specimen Days
Let me know if you need more and I'll look for stuff that isn't sitting at the front of my brain.
