Yes, especially now with the economic downturn. This is exactly the kind of climate when crime rates go up, domestic violence, etc. It's all connected, and people need services. But you know, it's easier for politicicans who are so far removed from the daily struggles of people to make decisions based on what they think they know, when they really know nothing.
