The Director of Student Life stopped me in the hall and asked if I was coming to the awards banquet next Friday. My response: "Uh, awards banquet?" She asked me if I got my invitation. I replied, "No, I didn't know anything about it." And then she informed me that I was -getting- an award. What the heck? It sure can't be for grades since I'm failing two classes, but she wouldn't tell me what it was for. The only thing I can think is that it's for SAAEO. Bizarre. Very bizarre.
