Writers, you cannot mindwarp me into believing that Lois worked her way up the journalistic totem poll. She did NOT start out writing "Want" ads or "Obits." Remember? She nearly got hit by a barn door and suddenly had a front page Inquisitor story? And then slept her way into the Daily Planet? Remember last season? Hello?

Oh. And since when did the Talon move to Metropolis?? WTF writers?

Not that continuity was ever your speciality. It's not like you're the SPN writers.

Tess Mercer reminds me of Lilah from Wolfram and Hart.

Yeah. They actually had Lois say to Clark something to the effect of "some of us had to work our way to the top and started out writing obits and want ads." And I was sitting there like..."Yeah. Chloe." :P

Oh please, she was hired at the DP in Kara, and in the very next episodee was on an out of two assignment, not to mention all of the personal attention she got from the boss *ahem* She even got an interview with Lex handed to her, it's a little late to pretend she worked her way up

I think the new showrunners just really want to reboot the show and write Lois as she should have been written all along, but it's a little late to sweep the past under the rug like that. It makes no sense to write Jimmy Olsen as the brains of their operation last season, and now have her just magically become competent and brilliant. Even Erica has been talking in interviews of how Lois will become more intelligent this year, but c'mon the character is in her early 20's, she's either been intelligent all along or she's not, she can't just suddenly wake up smarter

The only things I liked about SV last night were:

1. The chemistry between Davis and Chloe. HOT!
2. Looking at Tom.

That is all.

SPN was made of win all over the damn place. My heart is happy.
