when I first got into designing websites. My friend Sarah was the one who guided me through the process. My first fandom online was Roswell and I was one of the first people to build a site dedicated to it. It was called The Max and Liz Project. I remember the thrill of searching free graphics sites for backgrounds and graphics to make the site pretty, and how enthused finding ones that fit perfectly made me.

I wish I had that now. I haven't updated Only Time in like, months and I know I need to because there are about a gazillion stories I want to add to it that Bree and I have written...but now it seems more like a chore than it does fun. That sucks. Maybe I need to completely redesign. I don't know. That thought isn't really thrilling either.

*sighs*

Well, my obsession has turned into a new section for my website. I now have a section of Third Watch MIDIs on my home site:

I don't know if any of you have ever visited www.bored.com, but it's this website that has all these links to other, very amusing websites.

For instance, there is www.cybercones.com where you can make your own virtual ice cream cone or sundae. They look good enough to eat, but somehow my computer screen just didn't taste like chocolate ice cream when I attempted to actually eat the sundae.

Then we have www.whichisworse.com where you get to vote which is the worst out of all these given scenarios like, 'Which is worse--you dad acting like Eminem or you mom acting like Britney Spears?' *shudders* I'm not sure there's a lesser of two evils there.

www.anagramsite.com is a site where you can type in a name and in seconds it comes up with all the possible anagrams that the name can be changed into. Mine had over 500. No, I will not be changing my name to Wilma Angle Lisa. At least not anytime in the near future.

Then there's www.deathclock.com which is actually kinda morbid...you type in your birthday, your gender and a couple other things, and it predicts the day you will die. I will be leaving you all on December 3, 2056. Oh, well. I'll be like, 76. That's long enough for me.

:) Have a great day.

Graduation Day.

I'm not really all that excited about it because there are 454 of us graduating and it's going to be a very long, very boring ceremony. I'm kinda hoping that the city's mayor will speak and in the middle of his speech he will change into a rather large snake like the mayor in the third season finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer did. That would at least make things more interesting. :) Ok, so I'm a little weird, but what can I say?

Bought Mom a dozen white roses for Mother's Day and went ahead and gave them to her since we live in the same house and I couldn't have exactly hid them from her. She liked them. Lilacs are actually her favorite flower, but I couldn't find any, so I got roses instead.

Been working on a website for my friend's wedding. If for some reason you actually care to see it, you can check it out here and see what I've done so far (any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated): http://ljodear.topcities.com/index.html

I think I'm going to apply for a job as an admissions counselor at my college because they're looking for a graduate from this year to fill the position, and surprisingly, I am actually qualified for it. Whether I'll get the job or not, who knows, but it's full time and I'm assuming full benefits. Which means if I like it, I can save up some money, buy a laptop, then get an apartment and move out. Then I can get a dog :)
